Life is What We Make It

Someone told me today that life is what we make it.  How true.  This is good news and this is bad news.

Good news - we are in charge.
Bad news - we are in charge.

So, does this mean we can take the credit for our happy and it's best if we take the 'blame' for our sad.

Good news/Bad news.

I know if I knew how to do better - I'd be doing better.

We are all works in progress.

There is not one human alive, in my opinion, that does not wish that at least one thing would be different in their lives.

Is the 'trick' then, to be happy with where we are.

I'm so excited I discovered new challenges today because it will help me to learn, grow and be better at being me.

Ok, so I'm not really, completely, excited.  However, I think it does feel better to be excited rather than scared or discouraged.  In reality, I felt all three today.

Are feelings just feelings and it's what we do with them that matters most?
