Coming for the Real You.

I'm hoping to share thoughts, fun and insightful information and aha moments with all to better serve ourselves and the universe.

My background is that of Executive Secretary for the local Electric company (11 years).

Certified Personal Trainer (since 1991) and Fitness Consultant for my own company, Beachin Bodies (6 years) and certified in Reiki and Nutrition with training in Cranial Sacral work, Tai Chi, and Meditation. Certified as a Professional Life Coach (2015); Minister at Universal Life Church (2016);

and, possibly, most important,

my own journey through illness and avenues, roads and roadblocks that I have taken to find the real me. (35 plus years).

The me that I was born as. The me that is the all-knowing. I believe the search is endless and we are here to learn and to love and to share it all.

Emotions

Pulled out the tarot cards (in fun) and to make a long story short (although I'm betting I'll share the story when I have more time); what I got from it was:

Let emotions alone; we cannot control our emotions.  Life may work better for us if we do not even try to control them.  Behavior, on the other hand, is controllable.

Accept the emotions as they come; know them; connect with them; do not be numb to them; believe them.  Don't try to bury/hide/judge them.  Let them be.  They are a part of life and we are entitled to them.

What we do with our emotions may be the making or breaking of ourselves.  How we respond to them matters.  Perhaps it's a beneficial idea to consider them 'just' emotions. 

I think I may put too much power on them, especially the ones I do not feel comfortable with.  Perhaps, I let them over-power the way I feel too often.

This feels like real important/helpful information to me.  I'd smile if it helped you.
