Do I Dare?

Do I dare write about death?  Death is such an absolute part of life and, yet, it is often not discussed until it is necessary.  Death is often thought of as a bad part of living.  Is it?  What if death could be a beautiful part of living.

Here, again, is acceptance key?

I volunteered for Hospice for several years.  There certainly is a finality and sad part of death.  I have also seen many loving, beautiful sides of death as well.

I am blank and have no more words.  I guess each death is different.  I honor them all.  I honor the living dealing with death.

I trust that each of us deal with death in whatever way that works best for ourselves; in whatever way that we know how to best honor the life and death of a living person, animal, or thing.

Death is definitely an ending.  I'm hoping that we, that are still alive, can also make it about a beginning; when and if we are ready.

May you know what it feels like to honor the beginnings and the endings (and everything in between) in your life.
