Oh Boy

“The Ballad of Oh Boy”

As I'm thinking about and creating this post, the background noise in my head is the song "The Ballad of Boy" by Allan Sherman.  What a hoot that song is.  I was under the age of 10 and I'd be spinning around, jumping up and down, laughing, dancing and having a good old time to it.  ...

Oh boy. Oh Boy.  Oh BOY.

Oh boy. Oh Boy.  Oh BOY!!

It is how I see, look and think about what is in front of me that creates my experience of same.

It is how You see, look and think about what is in front of You that creates Your experience of same.

Any which way, if we are going to get there, we get there no matter the experience of how.  And, I have heard it said that it is the journey of life; the journey of our total experiences; and the journey of getting to, interacting and reacting to each situation that matters most and creates our reality.  Goals are great.  They give us good feelings of accomplishment, success, closure, joy, etc.

However, the journey of reaching (and sometimes not reaching) our goals is where we spend most of our time.

So to see, look and think about the positive, upbeat, exciting, joy, strength and love within you by way of incorporating and reaching a goal with an 'I can' or 'oh boy this is going to be good' attitude is way more fun to me.

Therefore, in this way of experiencing your journeys, I wish you as much ‘fun’ as possible.

In the situations, goals and journeys that are a bit harder to enter into through the upbeat attitude, perhaps, we can still choose to enter into them with a truthful, loving, raw attitude believing that as it turns out will be the best for developing the best of me; for me living me; with me being me.  'This is my life and I have me, God has me, and what happens is meant to happen.

I am okay above it, below it, walking next to it, experiencing it.  Even when the 'it' is not what I would choose, I am still okay.  I'm handling it. I will handle it. I got it.  I am learning and growing.  I am open to the best of me walking me through it and becoming.  It all brings me home to me.

May you open to the joyful side of you in as many experiences, situations, relationships and thoughts as possible.  It is 'just life'.  The way you speak, the tone you put to it and the feeling you enter into every time you could/would say 'oh boy' -- may you be aware and put your spin of awesome in it.

I believe in You.  Oh Boy!!!  Do I!!!
