The Ache

The 'ache'.

We all know it.  We all have experienced it.  The human feeling of achiness.

Whether it be a muscle or a joint.  Whether it be a loss or an unwanted change.  Whether it be a headache or a toothache.  Whether it be emotional and/or physical.  The ache can be so strong that it must be paid attention to.

May you breathe into any ache that may be asking for your attention.

I have learned that (often) the more I ignore it, the louder it gets.  The ache keeps finding ways to get our attention until, at last, we give it the attention and/or love that it is calling for.

When I own my 'ache' fully, breathe into it and allow the moment, I can see through the ache to the possibilities available to me through the ache.  I can see and feel the good in my life when I look for it.  I can honor the ache.  I can choose to honor myself.  I can choose to honor life.  I can be so in awe in the makings and dealings of my own humanness.

May you honor the ache, honor yourself, honor life and look for the awe, wonder and good things that are within You and going on around you through and from the ache.

Often, we right away just want to get rid of it.  We often and mostly just want to do whatever it takes to get rid of the ache.

What if we open to the ache and participate with honor and see, feel, be, know and love through the ache...  See where the truth of it and ourselves and our lives is at.  Living in the whole truth in each moment as they come just may be our very best pathway forward.

If you have an ache just now (or several aches), may you honor it/them and You.

Your life.  Your truth.  Your ownership.  Your love.  Your feelings.  Your experiences.  YOU.

May you tap into everything You and let your unique love, honor and sacredness live in and on.
